Valley-view stays in Bcharre

Cliffside villages above Qadisha.

Bcharre (Bsharri) stands at the head of the Qadisha Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and is the home village of Gibran Khalil Gibran, whose museum sits above the town.

The Cedars of God forest is a twenty-minute drive further up. Houses here are built along the cliff edge, with long stone balconies looking straight down the valley.
