Palace courtyards in the Chouf.
Beiteddine is a Chouf village built around the early-19th-century Beiteddine Palace, with its arcaded courtyards, fountains and terraced hillsides of olive and pine below the village.
It is also the gateway to the Shouf Biosphere Reserve, so several of our houses here sit inside or beside protected land — traditional riwaq houses with inner courtyards and window-seat cushions.
