Lebanon
Mountain air, cedar mornings.
Faraya sits high in the Mount Lebanon range and is the country's best-known mountain resort area, with the Mzaar ski slopes above the village and the Faqra Roman ruins and natural bridge nearby.
Our stays here are mostly stone-and-pine chalets built for cold evenings — fireplaces, long dining tables and ski storage — which work just as well for hiking and cooler summer nights.
